This has taken a while to be done (6 years give or take) but I like to make sure things happen in time for halloween.

(Fair warning: this is VERY dark.  Think: 'sailor girl' or 'glass' if you've read them)

I'm quite happy with this. It was originally supposed to be the cover art for the comic I've been working on, but I just wasn't happy with it as a cover, so now its just here to tease what might be to come.
For what it's worth, the primary rendering on all the art is done, which means it will be finished when I can put it all together and write the dialogue/narration to go with it.  That might sound like its close but realistically its probably still months away and I'm not sure what I'll do with it when it's done.
I tend to work in spurts as things pop up that inspire/excite me and there hasn't been a heck of a lot in the genres that hit my personal tastes for a while now so don't go holding your breath,

Since the current wave of masking fiction has been toward the sweet/romantic, this is the result of me trying to do something simple and non offensive in that vein.

A comic

I've been working on a new comic for a while now, but since it isnt ready I thought I'd post this one in the meantime.

I tentatively called it "the nursing home" but never bothered to write dialogue or create a cover for it.
If anyone wants to take a stab at writing the story/captions that go with it feel free.  Likewise if you've got any suggestions for what should go on the cover I'll happily take a stab at completing it.

Hooray! New things I've never shared before!

Warning before I do though: I am not a fan of the great shift.  I mean I don't mind the original stuff, but in the captioning world it seems to be always used for stories that are just "...and now I'm a girl and wow, isnt that different" when I'm much more interested in the wide scale implications of a world where everyone's identity is in constant question.
So, thinking about that, I wrote my first Great Shift caption/story ever.

The Introduction

Umm. Hello?

A long time ago I used to do fiction and art.  Primarily mask and ID-theft stuff with a dark edge.
Some of that stuff is still kicking around and some has been long lost, but because of the varying nature and niches of communities out there (and my general dislike of DeviantArt) I'm planning to put whatever I can find onto here just mainly for my own storage and entertainment.
Don't expect regular updates (they're unlikely to happen) but depending on what I find there may occasionally be things nobody's ever seen before. I'm usually pretty awful at replying to comment/emails etc but feel free to comment on pretty much anything.
For the moment I'm most likely to to be uploading fragments in the background so I can access them privately if I want to write so I doubt there's much even to look at in the short term but as I go there'll be more. Maybe...
